Paul was born in 1900 in Jakobsdorf.  Paul's father was Heinrich August Karl MITTAG *Jakobsdorf +Ducherow and his mother was "Hulda" Johanna TETZLAFF oo MITTAG *Marsdorf +Jakobsdorf.  His paternal grandparents were Johann MITTAG Bauer in Jakobsdorf and Wilhelmine GÖTSCH; his maternal grandparents were Friedrich  TETZLAFF Bauer Marsdorf and Emma TETZLAFF oo TETZLAFF.  He had two brothers named Erich  and Walter .  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 80 in June 1980 in Witzwort.
